Learn fuse-bead pattern design

These guides explain how Mandolin Handmade’s Designer actually works: turning an image into a pattern you can bead, choosing a useful grid size, planning bead quantities, and printing at the scale of a real pegboard.

You do not need an account. You can draw from a blank grid, convert a photo with Import Image, or open a starting point from Community Patterns. Saved work lives in Projects on this device. The same Designer is where you edit beads, check counts, and export a print template.

The pages below are written from the current tools, not from generic craft advice. Read them in any order. If you are starting from a photo, begin with the photo guide and follow the links when you need size or print detail.

How many fuse beads do I need?

Count filled cells, combine saved designs in Projects, and compare color quantities with the beads you already own.
